Pamela Jensen - Principal

My name is Mrs. Pamela Jensen and I have the honor and privilege to be the principal here at Haines Middle School.  I look forward to working with everyone to provide excellent learning opportunities for all of our students.

My educational journey began at Illinois State University where I majored in Jr. High/Middle School Education with specializations in Math and Health and endorsements in Science and Social Science.  I then attended Northern Illinois University and received my Master's Degree in Educational Administration.

I began my teaching career in the West Aurora School District teaching 7th grade Pre-Algebra, math and computers at Washington Middle School.  I later accepted job of Dean of Students, also at Washington Middle School.  In 2000, I traveled to the Oswego School District to become an assistant principal at Thompson Jr. High School and then traveled across town to become an assistant principal at Plank Junior High School when it opened.  For five years, I was the principal at Bednarcik Jr. High School, also in the Oswego School District before coming to Haines

My husband, Jim, and I have two children, Brooke and Tyler.   We enjoy spending our time together and we are kept busy with many activities including swim meets and baseball games.

I look forward to a successful and exciting school year.  Go Hurricanes!
