News for Today

Students interested in track and field are reminded to turn in their permission slips and order forms as soon as possible. They can be turned in to any of the coaches, or the main office. If you missed the meetings there are informational packets and order forms in the main office.

Attention Chess Club - We will meet at 3:30 in the front foyer for our bus to Geneva.  See you there!

Attention all 8th grade girls basketball players. This is a reminder to turn in money to Miss Gutshall or Mr. Roche for the party next week. Please let Miss Gutshall know if you cannot make it. We will need a final count by Tuesday, March 14. 

Any 7th or 8th-grade students interested in track and field this spring that missed the meetings can pick up an informational packet and order form in the main office.

Bring $1 to lunch today and support St. Baldrick’s Foundation.  Ambassadors will be selling bracelets for childhood cancer.

6th Grade Ambassadors -there will be an additional meeting this Friday, March 10 in the Student Services department at 8:00 am.  We will be preparing for our visit to Anderson Elementary.  Please be sure to attend.

This week in the lunchroom is Hot Top Wrap. It’s a cheezy ground beef, tator tot and salsa wrap. Come and give it a try!!

Calling all students! On Tuesday, March 21, the Fellowship of Christian Athletes will be hosting their first meeting from 3:30 to 4:30 pm in Mr. Peterson’s room (room 106). We will be playing games, eating snacks, and having lots of fun. Everyone is welcome!

Congratulations to both the 7th and 8th grade Math Teams who both finished in third place at the IMSA math contest yesterday.  It is the first time in over ten years that Haines has placed in the top three at the event.  Great job to both teams! 

After school activities for today are math club, robotics club, chess match at Geneva North and Jazz concert at St. Charles North HS at 7:30pm
